Where were you born, where did you grow up, where do you live now?
I was born in Prince-Albert Saskatchewan, raised in Regina and lived in Montreal for 12 years. I’ve returned to Regina for work.

First film you made, and where and when?
My first film was created in 1990 for a grade eight school assignment. It’s lost forever, thankfully.

Latest film you made, and where and when?
I just received an answer print for my latest 16mm film Eidolon (2020).

Describe your current living space.
I share a 100-year-old baby blue house with my partner, my daughter and our cat Small Fry. It’s a beautiful home with a veggie garden space and a yellow porch for my wicker chair collection.

Worst thing about being in isolation?
I’m fortunate to have family and close friends around to support one and other during this uncertain time. Nothing is “the worst” but it can be challenging.

Best thing about being in isolation?
Homeschooling my daughter and working on our vegetable garden.

Favourite book to read in isolation?
I reread 1984 recently, and that was an awful mistake for my mental health.

Favourite music to listen to in isolation?
I’m rotating several albums on Spotify and the record player, but I’m listening to a lot of old country tunes.

Favourite movies to watch in isolation?
I’m watching a lot of junk on TUBI.

Favourite meal in isolation?
My partner is an excellent cook, so I’m blessed with wonderful meals each day.

What’s the last best thing you cooked?
I bake, and so the last thing was probably sourdough bread.
