A recurring dream in the early days of self-isolation where nature is utterly indifferent to the fate of humanity.
“The image of the curtained window in my living room at dawn was a recurrent dream in the early days of self-isolation. The murkiness of light struggling to seep through seemed an apt image for the uncertainty. The eerie silence in the street was interrupted only by the sounds of the birds squawking and fighting, diving for trash or chirping carefree. It occurred to me that the birds (nature?) were utterly indifferent to the fate of the humanity.” – Asghar Massombagi
